Our freedom to travel the world and work on projects that make us excited to get out of bed in the morning is worth so much more than the finances we’ve amassed on this journey.
Glen built the blog ViperChill back when he was 17 (now 24). Though the blog is now a huge success with over 30,000 subscribers and 100,000+ visitors per month it certainly wasn’t always that way. In fact, his first year of blogging led to a massive zero blog comments and around 30 subscribers.
The thing that really brought us together over recent years was our passion – or really, our obsession – with figuring out what really works to get high search engine results. This would allow us to DOMINATE as many industries as we could, quickly. And not just once, but over and over and over again.
SEO for the last few years was always something easy to figure out. “Don’t buy backlinks” “Don’t over optimise your on-site SEO” “Don’t build links too quickly.”
Yet at times we’ve followed all of the rules to a T, built great content and watched visitors flock to our site. Yet, Google search results didn’t give us a second glance. We were doing what the Webmaster Guidelines tell us to do, but the results NEVER CAME.
But in the last year, something changed. It wasn’t just older sites with great content and old backlinks that we’re ranking, but tons of fresh, new sites were coming up to the top results.
We decided to tweak our formula a little and for the first time, no matter what industry we operate in, our rankings are getting higher and higher and higher, faster than ever before.
I guess it depends on what you define Blackhat as. I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t really think many things are ‘whitehat’ any more — after all, no matter the shade of your headwear, you’re still trying to manipulate search engine rankings in your favour. I don’t want to give away exactly what we do, but this method has nothing to do with firing thousands of links at your site overnight. We don’t actually build many links at all. Just the right ones.
No! I hate them as much as you do (if not more). This is it. One price, one offer. One product. There are times in the course where we do recommend you invest money into some ideas – though you don’t have to – in order to get better results. But none of that money goes to us. It only goes to growing your link profile.
